Jarrah is a social worker with experience and accolades in Business Leadership, including being named the Queensland Young Manager of the Year 2010 in the AIM Management Excellence Awards. Jarrah is living her passion for creating empowering and sustainable environments in which individuals can thrive and move towards achieving their maximum potential.
Jarrah uses her background in Social Work, her achievements in Business Leadership, as well as her personal interest in holistic health and wellbeing, to deliver a range of high quality development services to Businesses and Individuals. Jarrah is passionate about social justice, fairness, sustainability and focusing on the strengths of individuals to help them create happy, healthy, balanced lives.
Jarrah has a particular passion for supporting young people and spent five years working with young people attending high school, as well as managing a Youth Service. Jarrah sees this period in a person’s life as an important time to develop key skills and mind sets that will help them create the life that they want for themselves.

Karla has an extensive background in television and radio journalism, corporate communications, marketing and teaching. She spent six years as a Senior Media Advisor to various Queensland Government Ministers and worked in high-level corporate communication and economic development roles in Brisbane and Mackay. She currently owns a communication and media consultancy and writes for a number of publications. Karla presents a television segment for Mackay Regional Council and is often called on to facilitate and MC events and workshops.
Karla has a passion for enhancing the rights of women and children, particularly those at risk of harm. She is currently a member for the Mackay Hospital and Health Board.
Among her other experience is the development and creation of education and training programs, and spent a number of years teaching in Japan and Australia. She lives with her husband and daughter in Mackay.
